Looking back, even though Roger was unable to defend his US Open crown last year and an early exit (I consider his Semi Final exit as early since we had won this title for 5 consecutive years) to this year's edition of the slam, he still left us some of his spectacular shots for the fans to enjoy.
Of course who could ever forget that ridiculous "tweener" againsts Novak ( ironically who beats him this year in the semis ) in the semis which he won in straight sets 7-6, 7-5, 7-5 in a tight match.
This year in the first round of US Open 2010, Roger didn't disappoint the fans as he relinquished another "tweener" shot againsts his 1st round opponent Dabul. His opponent can only turn his head and shrugged his shoulders and just wonder "what can I do?".
Even though Roger was not able to go all the way, he still managed to come up with some surprises which exemplifies his greatness. We can't expect him to win all the time like he always did as he reaches the pinnacle of his career, but we can be sure that every time he steps on the court, magic happens.
