Swiss champ regain Swiss crown

It was a roller coaster ride and never an easy match, but Roger Federer did not disappoint his home crowd by dismantling Novak in three sets 6-4 3-6 6-1 in last night's rematch of the Swiss Indoors Finals.

Federer was in complete control of set one but faltered in the early stages of set number two, allowing Novak to level the match at 1 set a piece.  In the final set, as if Federer has lost his composure as he easily miss two easy points in the second game allowing Novak to escape from a break point tying the set 1 game a piece.  But actually that was it for Novak as Roger racked up 5 straight games to capture his 4th Basel crown in 5 years.

No one has won the tournament 4 times and it was Roger's 65th career title.  Next stop will be the BNP Paribas Masters 1000.  A lot is at stake as the champion will get 1000 ranking points.  Considering Federer didn't do very well in this tournament in the past, he will gain a lot of ranking points if he wins this tournament.
