The Greatest Rivalry in Tennis lives on

It's what everyone is waiting for after the Madrid finals this year.  The top 2 players in men's tennis have made it into the season ending tournament finals Saturday night as Roger and Rafa will clash again for the 22nd time with Nadal leading the head-to-head matchup 14-7 coming in tonights game.

Another loss to Nadal would be a big blow to Roger's stature as the G.O.A.T in men's tennis.  Rafa has been fast catching up with his recent accomplishments ( French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open ) and another win tonight could cement his place in the top of the rankings and end the G.O.A.T. discussion.

Numbers will show that Roger (6-1 6-4 win over Novak) has a more convincing matches before reaching the finals without dropping a set and how easily he brushed aside his opponents in the tournament.  On the other hand, Nadal (7-6 3-6 7-6 win over Andy M.) has been grinding it out with tight matches losing two sets already on the way to the finals.

However, these numbers would not mean anything once both players step on to the court as we expect to see an epic battle in probably the greatest rivalry in men's tennis history.
